YIN

This Yin Yoga class is a wonderful practice that consists of postures supported using props meant for your body and mind to relax deeper using breath, stillness, and gravity. We’ll practice several poses to focus on applying moderate stress onto the connective tissues with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Whether you are new to yoga, in search of something more grounding, or you sit/stand a lot for work, let’s find balance and relief from tightness and tension. Beginner friendly.

POWER VINYASA

Power Vinyasa is powerful and upbeat. This class is faster paced, and lightly heated. Prepare for an invigorating workout for your body and mind. All levels are welcome, but yoga experience is recommended. Our instructors will push you to be your best while holding space for you to take care of yourself. You can expect to get a good sweat and to leave class wanting to do better on and off the mat.

VINYASA

In this Vinyasa-based practice we will dive deep into movement and alignment. Expect unique flows that not only challenge the body, but challenge the mind. Pace and postures will be accessible to all levels from those just exploring to those inversion junky monkeys. Never taken too seriously, expect fun and laughs mixed with some solid tunes.

VINYASA FLOW

Expect a dynamic Vinyasa flow through creative sequences that challenge the body while calming the mind. The practice syncs breath with movement to build strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Suitable for all levels, modifications are offered to support your physical and energetic needs, whether you're building endurance or seeking stillness.

AILEEN QUINN

Aileen began her yoga practice as a college undergrad, taking her first yoga class as an elective course. Little did she know that she would continue this practice for well over 10 years, and will likely continue to do so for the rest of her life. What was initially sought out as a fitness routine became much more as she deepened her connection to the practice. As a climber herself, Aileen offers a style of yoga which compliments the physical conditioning of climbing with a mindful approach. On the mat, she has developed the skills of breathwork, focus, and mind-body connection to help to be present in the moment. Off the mat, she practices the yoga philosophy of selfless service through her involvement in environmental activism and stewardship, and has currently served as a board member of CRAGS since 2018.

ASHLEY RAMSAY

As a 200HR certified yoga instructor with over 15 years of experience as a yoga practitioner, I am very passionate about yoga and believe it has such a great impact on one’s health both physically and mentally. I have never felt so at peace in life as I have after a yoga session, besides maybe after sending a climbing project!  I have been a dedicated member of TBF since 2019 as both a climber and a yogi, and am grateful to share my love for yoga with my fellow climbers and gym members. I have practiced various types of yoga throughout my life, including, but not limited to, Vinyasa, Power Vinyasa, Yin, Hot Yoga, and Aerial Silks. I mainly teach Vinyasa, with an emphasis on engaging specific muscles during poses to receive the greatest benefit. I hope my practice can help you to send your next project!

KAYCIE HALL

I started my yoga teaching journey in 2012 and have continued to grow as an instructor, studio owner, educator, and as a student to the practice. I love working with all different students - beginners to advanced. I have a deep passion to help others connect to this transformational practice whether it be through movement or meditation. Outside of yoga, I love climbing, nature, jiu jitsu, animals, community building, and spending quality time with the people I love.

THUY DO

Thuy’s love for fitness and health started in 2008 when she found her passions in yoga, climbing, cycling, and dance. While she has ventured throughout the Bay, Southern California, and New York City for her fitness passions, her heart remains rooted in Sacramento. Thuy enjoys incorporating mobility, balance, and flexibility in her flows. Yoga has always been that bridge that links together the mind and body through intentional breath and movement. She is delighted to guide students in exploring both their strengths and serenity in Vinyasa Yoga. Although she may be sweet, small, and smiling she can provide an invigorating and powerful Yoga session!
